Сomposition:

althaea herb, echinacea purpurea herb.

How to use:

Pour 1 tablespoon of herbal tea (or 2 filter bags) with 1 cup of cold water, infuse for 45 – 60 minutes, stirring occasionally, strain. Drink 1 cup of freshly made infusion 3 times a day, slightly warmed just before use.

Description

The herbal tea «АлтЕхін-АНТЕА» / «AlthEchin-ANTEA» helps to normalize function of the respiratory tract in cases of cough, accompanied by difficulties in mucus production. It has emollient and restorative properties.

The phyto tea «AlthEchin-ANTEA» is recommended for inflammatory diseases of the throat, respiratory tract and gastrointestinal tract, colds.

Althaea (marshmallow) is used as an expectorant in acute and chronic respiratory diseases (bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, bronchopneumonia, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, bronchiectasis, pulmonary tuberculosis with symptoms of nonspecific bronchitis) accompanied by lowered mucus production.

Marshmallow is taken as an emmolient/ demulcent agent in inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (gastritis, enterocolitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, especially accompanied by diarrhea; catarrhal esophagus).

In folk medicine, the infusion of althaea is used internally for eczema and psoriasis, inflammation of the bladder, painful involuntary urination and dyspepsia in children, inflammatory processes in the kidneys.

Rinsing infusion of althaea herb is effective in inflammatory processes of the mouth and throat. Externally, althaea is used for rinsing the eyes with inflammation of the eyelids, for enemas, as well as anti-inflammatory and emollient in the form of poultices.

Echinacea purpurea, which has immunostimulatory, adaptogenic, antioxidant, membrane-stabilizing effect, is used in inflammatory processes, infectious and viral diseases, especially of the upper respiratory tract, as well as to improve physical and mental performance.
