A great Avicenna more than a thousand years ago prescribed it as a medicinal plant for a variety of diseases.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should be noted that people who constantly (with small breaks) take the infusion of rose hips, feel much better. The fruits lower blood cholesterol, slow down the deposition of atherosclerotic plaques in blood vessels. The content of vitamin P helps to reduce the fragility of capillaries, improves the use of ascorbic acid by the body.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The rose fruits in the form of decoction are used for anemia, water retention in the body, the presence of sand and stones in the urinary tract, cystitis, nephritis, gallstones, uterine bleeding, diarrhea, gastric colic, exhaustion, for normal bone growth in fractures, improving hematopoietic bone marrow and metabolic functions as an adaptogen in infectious diseases, and externally &#8211; in burns and wounds. The fruits are also useful for bronchial asthma, cataracts and some other eye diseases. Rose hips also help to treat prostatitis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medicines from rose hips stimulate metabolic processes, increase the body&#8217;s resistance to certain infectious diseases and efficiency in mental and physical fatigue. Its seeds\u2019 syrup is used for cholecystitis and hepatitis. Rosehip seed oil is applied externally for cracked nipples, bedsores, dermatoses, trophic leg ulcers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rose hip infusion is an effective remedy for chronic anacid forms of gastritis. Its pectins protect the intestinal mucosa, relieve inflammation, slow down peristalsis and remove radionuclides.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Professor G.M. Lipkan recommends for colds and headaches strong green tea (boiled for 60 minutes) with rose hip extract (Cholosasum, syrup) instead of sugar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Representatives of the genus <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rosa <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are multivitamin plants with a high content in the fruits of vitamins C, P, K1, B2, E, carotenoids (lycopene among the latters). Plants of the genus also contain flavonoids, tannins, macro &#8211; and micronutrients (iron, copper), sitosterol, fatty acids, including linolenic acid, pectins, organic acids. The composition of fatty oil of seeds includes oleic acid, tocopherols, carotenoids.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rose hips contain the highest yield of vitamin C among all plants. The fruits of the species of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cinnamomeae <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">section contain a significant amount of ascorbic acid (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R.cinnamomea<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; up to 14%, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">R.rugosa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> &#8211; up to 6%), in the fruits of the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Caninae<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> section its content does not exceed 1%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* For uses in liver disease, hypovitaminosis: 1 tbsp. of whole rose hips (pre-washed quickly) pour 2 cups boiling water, cover and boil for 10 minutes, then the decoction in a tightly closed container is transferred to a dark place, where infused 22 &#8211; 24 h, then filtered through a thick cloth and take half a glass 2-3 times a day before meals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* 1 handful of powdered rose hips (and flowers) pour a glass of hot water. Infuse for 15 &#8211; 20 minutes. Take 1 tbsp. 3 times a day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* In gastritis with reduced secretory function is effective an infusion of 3 tbsp. of rose hips per 1 liter of water, used half a glass 3 times a day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Recipe for &#8220;rosehip wine&#8221;: is prepared from 500 g of crushed dried rose hips or 1 kg of fresh, 500 g of sugar and 5 liters of water. Infuse for 6 days.
